At  ITP Aero, we are looking to hire an Engineering profile to strengthen and expand our Quality Operations Laboratories team, providing support to the manufacturing processes of aeronautical components.

 

Main responsabilities 

  • Metallographic preparation and evaluation. Analysis and interpretation of metallurgical characteristics.
  • Development of testing programs.
  • Development of new metallographic preparation processes
  • Performance of physical tests (Hardness, Tensile, Adhesion, Peel, etc.)
  • Review and implementation of standards and specifications. Preparation of internal documentation (instructions, etc.)
  • Preparation for and participation in audits
  • Management of purchasing and stock
  • Implementation of corrective actions
     

 

What profile are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with a specialization or training in metallurgy.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience working in metallographic laboratories and/or material development activities. Knowledge of optical microscopy, scanning microscopy, and energy-dispersive spectroscopy
Languages: English C1 level
Required knowledge:
  • Metallography and mechanical testing
  • Special processes (welding, heat treatments, etc.)
  • Interpretation of standards and specifications
