Your Main Responsibilities

ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT

• Ensure compliance with the daily start-of-shift and end-of-shift meetings.
• Ensure compliance with the daily short-interval control meeting.
• Organize tasks efficiently with the team using available resources.
• Ensure the team complies with established standards and take corrective action when deviations occur.
• Ensure team members have all the necessary tools and equipment to perform their work.
• Ensure the team updates the system regarding overtime payments, absences, vacations, taxi requests, and other personnel-related records.
• Ensure all tools are properly identified, labeled, and stored according to 5S standards.
• Ensure compliance with visual management standards.
• Ensure all department actions are properly managed, with assigned owners and target completion dates.
• Ensure compliance with the Kamishibai audit process.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

• Ensure operators complete all mandatory training and required courses (Onboarding, etc.).
• Ensure team members do not allow employees to perform tasks for which they are not certified.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Understand and correctly apply the Internal Work Rules and Labor Relations Manual.
• Serve as a role model for the High-Performance Culture (Pillars and 7 Habits).
• Understand and apply the company narrative strategy ("The What" and "The How"), as well as company values and behaviors.

HEALTH & SAFETY

• Act as the preventive safety leader within the workshop.
• Be informed by team leaders and report any potential risks (unsafe acts or unsafe conditions).
• Officially communicate any incident or accident to management and the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct investigations and analyses of workplace accidents and incidents.
• Perform risk assessments for workstations and the overall area, including ergonomic evaluations.
• Stop equipment or operations presenting deficiencies or risks that may affect processes or employee safety.
• Ensure employees have the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), use it correctly, and keep it in good condition.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGEMENT

• Ensure the implementation of approved standards as the production leader.
• Encourage team members to contribute innovative ideas.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experiencia in a similar position.

Required Knowledge

• Manufacturing processes (machining, casting, bending, welding, etc.).
• Production management.
• Manufacturing engineering fundamentals.
• OEE knowledge (machine and labor efficiency measurement).
• Team management.
• Industrial safety knowledge (products and personnel).
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
