PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL SENIOR PROFESSIONAL

 

 

 

Objective

Manage, develop, and achieve the objectives of the Planning, Deliveries, and Supply Chain area, ensuring compliance with internal and external customer requirements with a high level of excellence while consistently adhering to the company's common standards, policies, and processes.

 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Analyze demand on a monthly and annual basis, identify short- and medium-term variations, calculate production rates, and align figures with Production based on Capacity & Capability (C&C).

  2. Develop and monitor Master Production Plans (MPPs).

  3. Calculate and analyze short- and medium-term Capacity & Capability (C&C), identify and monitor machine bottlenecks, determine requirements, and propose staffing additions based on specific profiles.

  4. Responsible for production control and inventory management:

    • Determine target WIP levels.

    • Perform weekly monitoring of WIP inventory levels, identifying variances, root causes, and corrective actions.

    • Monitor blocked material within WIP.

    • Conduct raw material and finished goods coverage analyses.

    • Review and adjust release plans.

    • Review and adjust the Master Manufacturing Schedule (MMS), when applicable.

    • Update the Jobs Without Movement file weekly (WIP COE status).

    • Release manufacturing orders (classes 2222, 2223, and 2254).

    • Analyze and report Long Cycle KPIs, including OTL, OTF, Throughput, and Deliveries, and define improvement actions.

  5. Responsible for delivery planning:

    • Monitor the delivery plan and notify stakeholders of any impact to timing or commitments.

    • Review and adjust the production plan on a weekly basis.

    • Raise alerts with other departments regarding delivery delays.

    • Identify risks to production plan compliance and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Develop recovery plans for delays in collaboration with Production.

    • Update the delivery tracking file on a weekly basis.

    • Hold meetings with SCT to review P1 alerts.

    • Work collaboratively with the Business Unit and Central Planning.

    • Report and communicate the status of critical deliveries to internal and external customers and follow up accordingly.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Planning function.

 

Required Knowledge and Software

  • MRP management.

  • Capacity & Capability (C&C).

  • Production processes.

  • Inventory management.

  • Purchasing.

  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

  • Advanced Excel.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Software

  • SAP proficiency.

  • Experience in high-volume planning and management of a high mix of part numbers.

 

Languages

  • Advanced English.
