Industrial Development Engineer

Position Objective:

Manage the execution of the industrial plan and budget. Responsible for defining and implementing new investments, line modifications, layout improvements, methods, timing, and continuous improvement systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead new development and industrialization projects, defining layout, material flows, and executing necessary investments for the industrialization process.
• Execute industrial capacity adaptation processes.
• Define and implement standards in production lines, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient processes.
• Develop, implement, and refine macro-micro layouts for the sections under their responsibility.
• Apply Lean tools based on action plans identified in Lean Assessments.
• Expand Lean concepts + Benchmarking of best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with industrial plan KPIs.
• Define Production Management standards, line balancing, management cycles, and OEE.
• Provide consulting and training to personnel on Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education:
Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 5 years in a similar role, related to manufacturing processes, preferably in the aerospace or metal-mechanical industry.

Required Knowledge:

• Process management and improvement tools (Six Sigma, AMFE, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, TPM, SMED, etc.) – Implementation and training.
• VSM (Value Stream Mapping).
• Problem-solving techniques (8D, etc.).
• NX-Unigraphics, Catia, and AutoCAD.

Languages:
Basic to intermediate English.
