CNC Programming Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop machining programs for new products in strict adherence to company standards and best practices.
• Create CNC programs that ensure compliance with models, drawings, and specifications.
• Optimize processes to achieve target cycle times while maintaining quality.
• Implement machining improvements, cost reductions, and edition upgrades, ensuring traceability and historical records.
• Train technical specialists and CNC operators to follow standards and fully understand their roles.
• Select tools that meet company standards, strictly adhering to internal reference selection.
• Actively participate in Process Reviews to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, being responsible for all CNC-generated characteristics.
• Engage in the design and process review for new tooling development.
• Support the creation of new tool references in extraordinary cases where required.
• Contribute to the CNC programmer cross-functional forum for corporate standard development.
• Participate in monitoring systems, such as process audits and OPT evaluations, and apply corrective actions.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education:
Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years as a CNC programmer working with heat-resistant materials (nickel-based alloys and stainless steels) and machining simulation programs (Vericut, Sinumerik, CAD/CAM NX).

Required Knowledge:

• Extensive experience with vertical lathes and 5-axis machining centers.
• Tool selection, cutting condition calculations, and tool lifespan definition.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (preferably UG-NX).
• Machine operation at an operator level, running programs on the machine.

Languages:
Intermediate English.
