MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable and robust manufacturing processes.
  • Introduce new part numbers and deploy customer requirements.
  • Ensure the continuity and proper performance of manufacturing processes.
  • Define production rates by cell based on operation balancing.
  • Manage tooling, including defining tool life and maintenance requirements.
  • Create components in SAP and develop Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Develop and implement processes for new part numbers, manufacturing routings, internal and external subcontracting routings, and operation sheets.
  • Implement engineering changes, lead and implement customer-driven changes, and execute improvements in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Propose, analyze, and implement process improvements related to safety, ergonomics, quality, cost reduction, and lead time reduction.
  • Provide technical support to Production through technical information, discrepancy disposition, operation sheets, and standard rework instructions.
  • Develop and maintain the process matrix, request new or updated specifications, manage obsolete specifications, and maintain Process FMEAs.
  • Determine technical root causes of problems and customer rejections using methodologies such as PSDs, SCRAs, and 5 Whys.
  • Maintain technical communication with customers regarding deviations, concessions, RMRAs, SRIs, and DARs.
  • Develop and support industrial plans, plant layouts, investment plans, feasibility studies, and capacity & capability analyses.
  • Qualify direct material suppliers, perform drawing reviews, validate first articles, and prepare supply-condition drawings.

 

 

 

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience in the aerospace or metal-mechanical industry.

 

Required Knowledge and Software

  • Interpretation of aerospace drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • AS9100, NADCAP, AMS, and AWS standards.
  • Quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and 8D).
  • CAD software (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) and PLM systems (Teamcenter).
  • SAP.
