Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring area performance indicators, identifying and managing improvement opportunities.
• Monitor the material segregation area (process quarantines and quality clinic).
• Manage the Quality MQA team.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conforming parts with impact on cost of poor quality and SCRAP.
• Understand and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Ensure the correct implementation of containment, corrective, and preventive actions tied to KPIs.
• Conduct workstation observations and layered process audits.
• Responsible for Action Plans and Projects focused on the area’s KPIs.
• Ensure qualification and ongoing competency of the engineers under their responsibility.
• Responsible for the maintenance and continuous update of the Quality Management System.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams of more than 3 people.

Required Knowledge and Software

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel.
• GD&T and Core Tools.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation.
• Problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Minitab.
• Advanced SAP usage.

Preferred Knowledge

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with MES systems and audit management.
• Internal Auditor certification.
• Advanced statistical analysis.
