 What is the objective of this position? What is the expected outcome?

 

At ITP Aero, we are looking to recruit an engineer to join the Industrial Development Department within the Rotating Components Business Unit, to participate in the definition and implementation of industrial plans and continuous improvement plans across the various lines of the Business Unit.

 

 

  What profile are we looking for?

  • Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organisation Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Languages: Fluent English and Spanish.

 

  • Soft Skills:

-  Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.

-  Proactive approach and strong communication skills.

-  Highly motivated, with a strong desire for professional development and career growth.

  • Required experience: Although not essential, previous experience in an industrial environment, with a focus on the improvement of manufacturing processes, will be considered an advantage.
  • Required knowledge: Knowledge of Lean Assessment methodologies will be considered advantageous.

 

  What training will you receive to carry out the work?

 

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that plays a strategic role within the company. You will receive training and be involved in:

 

- New product development and industrialisation projects, including the definition of Value Stream Maps (VSM), material flows, takt time calculations, and related activities.

- Medium- to long-term capacity planning and workload analysis, ensuring that the various areas are adequately equipped and prepared to meet demand requirements.

- Managing the investments required to support industrialisation and capacity expansion initiatives.

- Implementing industrial capacity adaptation projects, including the commissioning of new facilities, executing divestment activities, and participating in machinery retrofit projects.

- Defining and implementing production line standards, ensuring safe, stable and efficient processes.

- Designing, implementing and continuously improving macro and micro layouts.

- Deploying Lean tools and methodologies based on the action plans identified through Lean Assessments.

- Driving the expansion of Lean principles across the Zamudio site and benchmarking industry best practices.

- Developing expertise in Lean Manufacturing management tools, including TPM, SMED and other continuous improvement methodologies.

- Defining OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) monitoring and management tools.

- Establishing and standardising ways of working through the definition of standard work procedures.

You will support ITP Aero from its headquarters in Zamudio, working alongside highly experienced professionals in the sector within a leading aerospace engine and components company, recognised as one of the foremost organisations in the global aerospace industry.

You will work closely with the Industrial Development team, as well as with the Manufacturing, Health & Safety, Environment, Maintenance and Group Property departments.
