INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 

 

Role purpose:

 

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Development Manager to lead and implement the industrial plan and continuous improvement initiatives across our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is critical in driving operational excellence through Lean principles, to ensure world-class quality, safety, and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execution of industrial plans according to the group's process standards.
  2. Implement and maintain the Lean Manufacturing model. Execute the Lean improvement plan .
  3. Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean tools and methodologies (VSM .5S, Standard Work, SMED, Kanban, etc.).
  4. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Hucknall Industrial Plan Budget Management: Ensure budget compliance. Investments and expenses.
  6. Medium-Long term Load&Capacity analysis.
  7. Benchmarking with other UOs / companies.
  8. Support and coordination with Process Engineering.
  9. Participation in the New Product Offer process: Load capacity and productive investments necessary for the quote of the offer.
  10. Participation in the NPI development process: Product lines, FMEA, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading successful Kaizen events and Lean transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, VSM, PDCA, A3, TPM, Poka-Yoke, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and other aerospace quality standards.

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

 

What are the working hours?

 

Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
