JOB DESCRIPTION :-CFO

 

1. Financial Strategy and Business Leadership

  • Develop and execute the India Unit's financial strategy in alignment with global corporate objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership to support business growth, manufacturing expansion, operational efficiency, and profitability goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director/CEO and Executive Leadership Team on financial, commercial, and operational matters.
  • Lead long-range financial planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and resource optimization.
  • Drive financial performance analysis and support decision-making through actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities, where applicable.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term business planning, and periodic forecasting cycles.
  • Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, working capital, and manufacturing cost performance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure business performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve financial outcomes.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract reviews, and customer profitability assessments.

3. Accounting, Controllership & Financial Reporting

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial statements and management reports.
  • Oversee financial controls, accounting procedures, internal control frameworks, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, and corporate accounting policies.
  • Present financial reports and business performance updates to executive management and global headquarters.
  • Maintain robust accounting systems and financial processes that support operational scalability.

4. Risk Management & Investment Governance

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial, operational, commercial, and regulatory risks.
  • Develop and implement enterprise risk management practices.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and manufacturing expansion projects.
  • Analyze liabilities, financial exposures, foreign exchange risks, and debt management strategies.
  • Establish risk mitigation plans and monitor implementation effectiveness.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash forecasting processes.
  • Ensure adequate funding for operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and implement appropriate hedging strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to improve cash conversion cycles and optimize capital utilization.

6. Audit, Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure successful completion of all statutory, tax, transfer pricing, internal, and corporate audits.
  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, tax planning, and tax risk management.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate governance requirements, company law, tax laws, and applicable aerospace industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.

7. Aerospace Industry Compliance & Governance

  • Support compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards, customer requirements, and government regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to export control regulations, customs requirements, and government contracting obligations where applicable.
  • Establish strong governance practices to safeguard company assets and intellectual property.
  • Promote ethical business conduct and compliance across all business functions.

 

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with global corporate finance teams, business leaders, regulators, auditors, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and support service teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.
  • Champion organizational change and business transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • MBA in Finance or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or multinational organizations preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex financial operations within a global business environment.
  • Strong exposure to manufacturing operations, project accounting, capital investments, and regulatory compliance.
