MANUFACTURING SERVICES ENGINEER

 

 

Role purpose:

 

ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Manufacturing Services Engineer to join our growing team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time permanent basis, 37 hours per week. Manufacturing Services is a support function for production on site, performing machine and process maintenance activities (planned and reactive).

 

 

Your main responsibilities / What you will do:

 

  • Work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager UK in order to deliver the Manufacturing Services objectives.
  • Work with production and the maintenance team to facilitate maintenance activities.
  • Support implementation of the company Health & Safety Standards which may include taking the role of Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant RP for specified activities.
  • Have experience of managing small to larger equipment/site improvement projects.
  • Be able to organise planned maintenance activities.
  • Work with highly skilled engineers to analyse equipment failure root causes.
  • Prioritise machine issues with production and negotiate equipment release for essential maintenance.
  • Deliver programs of work such as PUWER, engineering inspections, risk management.
  • Work with procurement to ensure the function meets its cost challenges.
  • Work with senior management to agree site and equipment funding budget plans.
  • Training will be provided where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager UK in order to deliver the Group Property objectives.
  • Ensure supporting OEM’s deliver their services to the business.

 

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • Good experience managing projects.
  • Has had experience in functional support groups.
  • Experience managing the control of contractors.
  • Good computer skills in Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Has a proven track record delivering business results.
  • Takes responsibility for their own development with particular focus on their communication skills.
  • Has had experience of managing and coordinating external Service Providers.
  • Full Understanding of the site Manufacturing Services function and accountabilities
  • Accredited Project Management Training.
  • Experience of plant and equipment Relocation.
