Quality Engineer – MQA (F/M/X)

 

Job purpose:

 

Ensure compliance with quality standards in the manufacturing processes of aerospace tubing by providing technical support to production, leading continuous improvement activities, and ensuring the proper implementation of new projects and developments (NPIs). The Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving operational excellence through data analysis, solving quality issues, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and project teams, actively contributing to the sustainability and evolution of manufacturing processes.

 

 

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Development of parts through to industrialization phase (IPA, PPAP, PFMEA, final product validation…)
  • Management and follow-up of customer complaints (48hrs, 8D) and internal discrepancies (NCPs, defect analysis – Pareto…)
  • Control / reduction of non-conforming product (NCPs, concessions…) by analyzing process data (SPC, CPK, R&R, SCRA…) to improve / optimize processes and inspection methods (reduce variation, time reduction, CNQ…)
  • Execution of internal quality audits (system and product) and support external audit plans.

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an MQA in the aerospace industry. Preferably with experience in tubes manufacturing

 

  • Languages: Spanish native. High level of spoken and written English; other languages are a plus
  • Required Knowledge:
    • Quality (IPAs, PPAP, APQP, blueprint and standard interpretation)
    • Measurement and inspection processes
    • Problem-solving tools and methodologies
    • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, bending, NDTs…)
