Operational Buyer (F/M/X)

 

Objective of the position:

 

Ensure the supply of materials and subcontracted services necessary for the Company’s operations, aligned to the optimal inventory levels.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

Internal Operations

  • Understanding material demand
  • Managing item parameters in SAP
  • Managing material MRP
  • Managing purchase orders / planning / deliveries
  • Managing material stock
  • Ensuring material logistics in coordination with the logistics manager
  • Delivery reporting to the rest of the organization
  • Identify cost-reduction improvements throughout the supply chain

 

 

SRM – Supplier Relationship Management

  • Ensure the Forecast update to suppliers, as well as analyze and understand it (Raw Material Availability)
  • Lead meetings with suppliers, generate meeting minutes, track actions, and reports of priority parts
  • Analyze and monitor on-time delivery (OTD) with suppliers
  • Managing supplier production: monitoring progress checkpoints to identify future risks
  • Identifying capacity issues in suppliers
  • Negotiating and agreeing on delivery and recovery plans
  • Ensuring development and problem resolution with suppliers
  • Maintaining and discussing KPIs with suppliers
  • To provide leadership across detection/analysis/resolution of capacity deficits and production/quality problems in the medium/long term on the supply chain (Monitoring of Recovery/Capacity Plans that guarantee component deliveries)
  • Management and escalation of priorities

Who we are looking for:

  • Education: Intermediate degree. Technical training preferred.
  • Required knowledge:
    • SAP, Excel, Outlook, English (C1 level)
    • Stock management, logistics costs
    • Manufacturing processes
    • Industrial organization / production / layout / lean
    • Analysis of a Load and Capacity from Suppliers
  • Languages: Spanish
