Job Objectives
Development  communication system interfacing with the EJ200 engine monitoring system.
Functions and Responsibilities The main objective will consist of developing a ground-based communication system with the EJ200 engine monitoring system.
The technologies required for this purpose include the Java and C++ programming languages, as well as the use of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

Incorporation of specific capabilities for the future EJ200 monitoring and control system, DECMU-NG.
Support for current and previous ground communication systems for DECMU and EMU, including support for configuration changes, engine trimming, and changes in equipment software versions.
Integration of the Gas Path Analysis algorithm into the ground communication system to support fault detection in the measurement system and to assist in case of test cell rejection.
Incorporation into the ground communication system of the calculations required for engine acceptance testing and automation of configuration changes after engine run-in.
Required Profile Knowledge and experience in the following areas will be valued:

Mathematical knowledge, computational algebra applied to the solution of non-linear equation systems.
Thermodynamic knowledge: total and static quantities, Mach number, enthalpy and entropy of ideal gases.
Turbomachinery knowledge: velocity triangles, basic aerodynamics of compressors, turbines, combustion chambers, and nozzles.
Engine performance knowledge, 0D modelling.
Basic statistical knowledge for data monitoring: normal distribution, chi-square distribution, correlation, regression, and autocorrelation.
Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and data mining.
Knowledge of Java development using Eclipse.
Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge of C++ development for computational calculations.
Knowledge of surrogate models using HOSVD (High Order Singular Value Decomposition).
Education
Aerospace Engineering preferred
