Analysis and assessment of the condition of engines across civil and military fleets
|
| Functions and Responsibilities | The analyst is responsible for analyzing and assessing the health and condition of aircraft engines within the fleets of various operators, both civil and military, based on flight data analysis. The analyst is responsible for applying data science to contribute to failure prediction, maintenance and logistics optimization, and the improvement of operational availability of engines across different fleets. The analyst is responsible for managing both civil and military customers worldwide. The analyst is responsible for supporting engine troubleshooting through flight data analysis. The analyst is responsible for producing specific reports at the customer’s request regarding issues affecting the customer’s fleet, as well as contributing to global fleet reports within the department. The analyst is responsible for creating the necessary reporting templates to present data to customers in a clear, comprehensive manner tailored to their needs. The analyst is responsible for supporting data scientists in the development of automated flight data analysis tools and for verifying and ensuring the proper functionality of these tools. The analyst is responsible for keeping departmental documentation up to date. |
| Required Profile | Experience: Preferably 2–3 years of experience as a data analyst or aircraft engine maintenance engineer, working with engine monitoring and data analysis systems. Experience working in both military and civil operational environments, with knowledge of the different requirements and regulations applicable to each sector. Experience with fleet management systems and predictive maintenance of aircraft engines. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of aircraft engines and propulsion systems (gas turbines, jet engines, etc.). Experience with analysis and programming tools such as Python is desirable. Knowledge of aircraft monitoring systems (e.g., ACMS, Health Monitoring Systems). Knowledge of databases and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, MongoDB). Experience in predictive analytics techniques, machine learning, and optimization applied to aviation. |
