What is the objective of this position?

At ITP Aero, we are looking for an High Performance Computing  (HPC) Systems & Simulation Infrastructure Engineer to join our Simulation Technologies Department, where you will play a key role in the deployment, operation, and continuous evolution of cutting-edge HPC infrastructures based on next-generation CPUs and GPUs.

You will become part of an innovative environment that leverages HPC and Artificial Intelligence to develop advanced simulation capabilities supporting the design and optimization of future aerospace propulsion systems.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of supercomputing, engineering simulation, and digital innovation, contributing directly to technologies that shape the future of aviation.

• Develop expertise in advanced numerical methods applied to aeronautical gas turbine engine simulations.
• Design and implement high-performance computing solutions to accelerate aeroengine development.
• Integrate, optimize and enhance simulation tools used throughout the aeroengine design process.
• Contribute to the evolution of the software strategy and digital capabilities supporting aeroengine design and analysis.
• Support the development of innovative, high-efficiency aeroengine components through advanced modelling and simulation technologies.

  What profile are we looking for?

Academic requirement:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Experience (+2 years of experience):

• Linux and Windo ws systems administration.
• Installation, configuration, and management of GPU-based computing clusters and storage systems.
• Administration of systems operating under Restricted Distribution Security Classification or equivalent security frameworks.

Required Knowledge

• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• High-speed networking technologies.
• Firewall administration and network security.
• CITRIX systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with server and workstation hardware, including processors, memory, GPUs, storage, cabling, and infrastructure components.

Languages

• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
