| Scope | We are looking for a Repair Engineer to join the GTF Powerplant Engineering Team. As a GTF Repair Engineer, your mission is to lead the development, implementation and industrialization of repair capabilities required to support the long-term GTF MRO programme. You will coordinate engineering activities, define technical solutions and validation plans, and ensure that repair capabilities are delivered on time to meet programme commitments. You will work closely with almost all manufacturing/repair techniques available in the aerospace environment: Chemical cleaning, NDTs techniques, Niquel-plating and other chemical processes, Thermal spray, heat treatment, shot peening, welding, etc. In that way working closely with internal stakeholders and OEM engineering teams, you will drive continuous improvement, technical excellence and operational performance to support engine turnaround time, repair competitiveness, operational excellence and business growth. |
| Accountabilities | • Develop and qualify GTF repair capabilities. • Define and maintain repair documentation. • Coordinate multidisciplinary repair activities. • Support production and repair industrialization. • Drive technical improvements with OEM and stakeholders We are looking for engineering professionals with an interest in aerospace repair development, maintenance processes and industrialization activities. | Profile | 2+ years of experience in MRO operations, repair engineering, manufacturing processes, or workshop environments. • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Part 145 requirements and aerospace regulations. • Understanding of engineering drawings, technical documentation and repair validation activities. • Knowledge of aerospace materials, inspection techniques and special processes (NDT, coating, welding, heat treatment, chemical processes, etc.). • Knowledge of SAP and engineering support tools such as Teamcenter (TC) and NX. • Knowledge of gas turbine components, repair schemes and engine maintenance processes. |
| Education | Bachelor / Master Degr Engineering degree qualified in Aerospace or engineering related discipline. |
