Job objective :

We are looking for an Environmental Manager to lead the environmental strategy of the MRO ( Maintenance , Repair and Overhaul ) business , especially for centers located in the central area (Ajalvir, Albacete and Alcobendas).

Your mission will be to ensure that the environmental performance of the centers is aligned with the company's environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with ITP requirements (which go beyond legal compliance), reinforcing our commitment to environmental protection and the transition to low-carbon operations in the central area and MRO business.

You will report to the Associate Director Environment and will need to interact with areas such as Group Property , Maintenance, MRO, Industrial Development, H&S…

Your main responsibilities / What you will do :

In general, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects and people in order to ensure compliance with the environmental policy at the Ajalvir, Albacete and Alcobendas sites and the decarbonization strategy of operations.

Who are we looking for ?

• Training: We are looking for a professional with a higher education in Engineering or Environmental Sciences , and at least 5 years of experience in environmental management in complex industrial environments, preferably in the aeronautical, metalworking or energy sectors.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in roles related to environmental management in industrial settings and in team management.

Knowledge and experience in carbon footprint and decarbonization projects will be valued.

• Required knowledge:

• Environmental legislation and permit management.
• Management systems (EMAS, ISO 14001, ISO 50001).
• Decarbonization and energy efficiency strategies.
• Reporting and audits.

• Languages : Spoken and written English and Spanish.
